Australopithecus

Crap, I totally forgot about that A-Z thing. Well, better late than never. Since this is sort of like doing your 8th science project at 9 o'clock on Sunday night, this post sucks. Better late than never, right?

These are either pre-humans or advanced monkeys. They are covered in fur, wear no clothing, and live in small groups, usually two or three males with ten to twenty females plus offspring. They are as intelligent as most animals, but show a high degree of cunning and use crude tools. When threatened, they usually run except within the confines of their territory. Such transgressions result in a maniacal response of flailing arms and thrown objects. The strongest male is upwards of 5' tall and has 3HD. They collect anything shiny and inedible as treasure.
